In all aspects of our work, Under The Mango Tree aims to work in partnership with established groups, rather than initiate implementation by ourselves. We intend to take advantage of the increase of NGOs implementing livelihood activities on a community based framework and add beekeeping to the farmer’s basket of activities. This strategy enables us to extend our reach but not our presence, thereby allowing us to have a small team that is then supported by NGO partnerships and development of local cadres.
